Who am I?

I'm a 20 years old italian who has been writing garbled nonsense code since the age of 10, starting from C/C++, moving to C# and ending up stuck in a stable but weird love-hate relationship with Java for Android, which is now my main and """favorite""" language. I also spent a couple years learning Python 3 and NodeJS to make APIs and websites.

I also like design a lot and I would consider myself good at it, which, along with my passion for Android development is what made me want to improve the Fediverse through native mobile applications. I am currently working on LiveChat, a client for Pleroma's chat functionality, with advanced features and a design-first approach, to compensate for the (in my opinion) excessively stale UI of the official web frontend.

What is this about?

My income doesn't sustain me at all. I can manage thanks to my parents but I can't survive on my own since I live with them and my paycheck is below minimum wage, yet it still get taxed. My money ends up in medications and health checks, mostly for my heart, thanks to them I can't smoke, drink and I'm forced to live healthier.

My goal does not cover the "extras" that I would consider amenities such as servers for hosting code and bots. It only covers most of the health bills, excluding non prescribed medications.
