Pushword

Pushword is a page-oriented CMS built as a set of Symfony bundles. Content is written in Markdown and templates in Twig — with no proprietary field builders to master.

• Flat-file & Hybrid: Content lives in Git-versioned Markdown while maintaining a smooth and accessible admin interface.
• Multi-site & Multilingual: Natively managed from a single kernel.
• SQLite by default: Lightweight and fast, with no database server to provision.
• Static generation: Raw HTML export for maximum performance and security.
• Modular ecosystem: Around twenty à la carte bundles (admin, REST API, full-text search, newsletter, dead link detection, versioning, etc.).

Powers piedweb.com and several sites in production (48,000+ downloads on Packagist).

📦 Standalone PHP Packages

An ecosystem of around ten standalone PHP packages focused on crawling, SEO analysis, WordPress, and templating:

• piedweb/wp-ai-polyglot — AI-powered translation plugin for WordPress.
• piedweb/splates — Native PHP template engine.
• piedweb/curl — Fluent object-oriented wrapper for cURL.

My Work Philosophy

Every package stems from a concrete need on a real project: it is battle-tested in production before being published. Nothing is written just for show — what I share, I use on a daily basis.

The open-source challenge:
While initial development is funded by my client projects, long-term maintenance is not. Handling issues, keeping up with PHP and Symfony version upgrades, writing documentation, and preserving backward compatibility require continuous investment.

What Does Your Support Fund?

Your donation funds dedicated time: time I allocate to maintenance rather than billable client work. Specifically, it enables me to:

• Respond to issues and integrate contributions.
• Ensure compatibility with updates to PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Enrich and maintain documentation.
• Continue releasing open-source components that would otherwise remain private.

Commitment: No rewards, no tiers, no locked features. Everything is MIT-licensed and will stay that way.
