My name is Tony… I am working class, my parents were working class as were their parents. Both my parents and my grandparents owned their own houses.

I live in social housing paying £700 per month in rent on a 10 year old estate which is already looking run down, neglected and un-cared for. Right now civilisation is in the grip of a financial crisis which is worsening day by day. My generation is the first in 100’s of years to be worse off than our parents.

I deliver Pizzas for a living despite being a qualified and experienced IT project manager. The crisis which grips us is ‘Neo Liberal Capitalism’. A system responsible for the collapse of world wide banking systems. destruction of national economies, military coups, dictatorships, the fall of political systems and the bankrupting of the working class. Urban Revolution is about spreading the message that things need not be this way.

Other systems exist which through collaboration, cooperation, community and support would enable the working classes to own their own houses, pay their bills, pay off their debts and enjoy a work / life balance currently afforded only to the top few percent of world population. Urban Revolution is Clothing for Change NOT Profit. Urban Revolution designs are sold only at cost price. I make no profit from sales at all.

I do however have overheads associated with this venture such as web hosting, internet connection, and equipment costs as well as my own debt, bills and rent to pay.
