I’m Manuel, the creator of OpenVitals, an open-source health app built to help people understand their personal health data without noise, pressure, or unnecessary complexity. OpenVitals brings together metrics like activity, sleep, heart, and body data into a clean, dashboard-first experience designed for everyday insight. My work on OpenVitals is guided by a belief that health software should feel trustworthy, private, and human. Instead of chasing gamified streaks or overwhelming charts, I’m building tools that help people notice patterns, reflect on their wellbeing, and stay connected to their own data.
