TechSvet is publishing articles about Free and open-source software for readers in Slovak Republic and Czech Republic since 2020. Our articles are not hidden behind paywalls because we strongly believe in free access to information. Unfortunately, the cost of hosting and domain for our website (techsvet.eu) were getting higher every single year and at the same time we never received any money from advertisements. We do have ads on our website and we would receive some money from them if those ads would be interesting enough for people to click on them - but in almost 5 years no one did (understandably). This year we are facing serious difficulties because the cost of keeping the website online got too high for us. Any form of donation could help us to keep the website running and at the same time we would be able to quickly remove ads completely with peace in our minds because we are still perhaps foolishly hoping we could get at least few cents from them. We would like to thank in advance to anyone who decides to help us.
